HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel Pharmacist for a travel job in New York, New York.

📍 Position: Pharmacist Level 1
⏰ Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
🧭 Experience: Minimum 2 years as a licensed Pharmacist (required)

Role Summary

The Pharmacist Level 1 supports patient care by:

• Preparing and dispensing medications
• Providing pharmacological information to the multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Monitoring and evaluating patient drug therapies for safety and effectiveness

Required Skills & Responsibilities

• Dispenses medications accurately and in a timely manner
• Resolves questions regarding formulary and non-formulary medications following policies/procedures
• Provides age- and kinetics-based dosing and therapeutic recommendations according to clinical literature
• Performs patient education , including:
  • Correct dosing and usage
  • Medication timing and adherence
  • Expected side effects
  • Potential drug interactions
  • Additional counseling per department standards

Additional Required Skills

• Chemo preparation experience (CHEMO PREP)
• Ability to float across multiple care areas:
  • Critical Care
  • Pediatrics
  • Oncology
  • Transplant
  • Medicine
  • Cardiac
