ABOUT AJ OPERATIONS

An extension of Adventurous Journeys Capital Partners ("AJCP"), AJ Operations is the in-house management company for AJCP's hospitality, residential, office, retail, and entertainment assets. By leveraging resources across the company, AJ Operations expands upon AJCP's vertically integrated development approach and is responsible for driving operating performance and guest experience through the alignment of branding, real estate, and property operations. Projects managed by AJ Operations include Chief's, an entertainment venue in partnership with Eric Church on Broadway in Nashville, Memoir Residential, a multifamily platform initially launching in Portland, Nashville, and New Orleans, and Coral Sands Inn & Cottages, a boutique luxury resort in the Bahamas, as well as many other exciting commercial, hospitality, and F&B ventures. AJ Operations will also manage 500,000 square feet of office space and 250,000 square feet of retail upon completion of AJCP's mixed-use project in Wedgewood-Houston Nashville.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Adventurous Journeys Capital Partners (AJCP) is seeking a Summer Intern to support the AJ Operations team in managing and optimizing a diverse portfolio of assets across the hospitality, mixed-use, and residential sectors. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to property-level performance analysis, portfolio management strategies, and operational processes in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Monitor and analyze financial and operational performance across a diverse portfolio of assets, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to support senior leadership in decision-making.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support new property openings, capital projects, and operational initiatives.
• Prepare materials and presentations for executive reviews, investor updates, and lender communications.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic planning and portfolio growth.
• Improve existing systems and tools, such as Toast, Lightspeed, and Tripleseat, by optimizing workflows and enhancing functionality to better support operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, optimize processes, and enhance scalability for new properties.
• Support operations teams in executing strategic initiatives and ensuring property-level performance aligns with organizational goals.

WHO YOU ARE

AJ Operations is seeking a highly-motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, but disciplined, entrepreneurial environment. This role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and a desire to learn and grow. This role also requires the following capabilities:

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and synthesize data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and manage competing deadlines.
• Self-starter who can adapt to ambiguity and balance multiple priorities.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field.
• Familiarity with financial statements, forecasting, and budgeting processes is preferred.
• Interest in asset management, financial planning, and operations within a diverse portfolio.
