DUTIES:

• Pro-actively learn new Dynatrace APM tool functions/features and establish best practices for monitoring management.

• Lead and assist the partner teams with onboarding the Enterprise APM (Application Performance Monitoring) solution with Dynatrace for the health of their application implemented with an On-Prem/Hybrid/SaaS model with a best practice defined process/procedure.

• Create documentation, procedures, and processes for managing Dynatrace configuration, revisions, and upgrades for supporting the APM tool hardware and software environment.

• Design infrastructure, application monitoring, and log analysis frameworks to enable comprehensive visibility of production systems in partnership with our application teams.

• Architect, Deployment, configuration, and maintenance of One Agent, Activegate, Real User Monitoring (RUM), Agentless RUM and Synthetics.

• Provide end to end Dynatrace infrastructure support to the application partners.

• Work with One Agent and Active Gate extensions in both v1 and v2 framework including extension creation and configuration.

• Assist partner teams on how to use Dynatrace effectively that supports a self-service environment for instrumentation of Dynatrace APM instrumentation for Alert Problem Notifications, Databases, Health Dashboards, Maintenance Cycles, Synthetics, and user experience with RUM.

• Actively Collaborate with the Dynatrace vendor and the Performance Monitoring team on the current Architecture to gain insight into future system states.

• Clarify APM requirements and business needs with partners, providing guidance and assistance to help them become self-sufficient.

• Position reports to Centene headquarters at 7700 Forsyth Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63105 and various unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. Telecommuting permitted 100% of the time.

• No additional national or international travel is anticipated.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Management, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position, and 3 years of relevant work experience.

• In addition, experience with the following skills is required: (1) Working with Dynatrace and SolarWinds to set up monitoring for Databases including MYSQL, Oracle, and SQL servers for query performance, connection pooling and resource usage and NoSQL databases including MongoDB, Cassandra, and Redis for operational metrics and performance; (2) Using Kubernetes to track the lifecycle of pods and containers. Monitoring pods allow for precise performance tuning and resource optimization; (3) Using Linux shell scripting to check the status of Dynatrace nodes and make configuration changes to the Dynatrace servers as necessary to maintain and upgrade Dynatrace monthly patching; (4) Using Windows PowerShell scripting to pull the dynatrace licensing and hosts data out of Dynatrace to review the license consumption of Host units, DEM, and DDUs on daily basis; (5) Using APIs to setup and maintain integrations between Dynatrace and other systems, and using the Environmental API to automate tasks and exchange data; and (6) Using Service-Now to address and resolve incidents reported by users related to ServiceNow functionalities, including system errors, access issues, and performance problems.

WORK HOURS: Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week [8:00 am to 5:00 pm]

PAY RANGE: $121,143.26 to $158,100.00 per year
