The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Senior Copywriter for a new insurance brokerage that's redefining how small and midsize businesses understand and buy insurance through its proprietary AI technology and deep industry expertise.

As the copywriting lead, you’ll shape the brand voice across all external-facing content. This is more than writing words - it’s about building a brand, bringing clarity to a complex industry, and delivering content that resonates with multiple audiences.

From website copy and campaign messaging to partner collateral and thought leadership pieces, you’ll be the go-to for written communication. You’ll collaborate with marketing, sales, product, M&A, and leadership teams, while partnering closely with legal to ensure content is always compliant.

Compensation, Benefits, Location:

  • 100% employer-paid healthcare
  • $90,000-$110,000 annual salary (DOE)
  • 401k eligible on first payroll; company will match up to 4% of gross pay
  • Monthly cell phone stipend

  • PTO in first year accumulates 120 hours in first 12 months
  • 14 annual holiday days: 13 scheduled and 1 floating holiday
  • Central office location in Brickell area of Miami, company-paid parking

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and own the brand voice and messaging across all channels.
  • Write compelling, on-brand copy for:
  • Website pages and landing pages
  • Marketing campaigns (email, ads, social)
  • Sales collateral and presentations
  • Pillar content, whitepapers, and thought leadership
  • Scripts for video, podcast, and multimedia assets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, M&A, Customer Success, etc.) to craft audience-specific content.
  • Partner directly with Legal to ensure compliance across all content.
  • Build a scalable content system with messaging frameworks, style guidelines, and templates.
  • Contribute ideas to creative campaigns, ensuring copy and design work seamlessly together.
  • Translate complex insurance concepts into clear, approachable, and engaging copy.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 6–10+ years of professional copywriting experience, ideally in financial services, insurance, B2B SaaS, or other regulated industries.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates excellence in brand storytelling, marketing campaigns, and thought leadership.
  • Proven ability to adapt voice and tone for different audiences (small business owners, agents, carriers, partners).
  • Experience collaborating closely with compliance/legal teams.
  • Strong editorial judgment and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment and juggle multiple priorities.
  • A strategic thinker who can turn business objectives into compelling copy.

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience working in insurance, fintech, or another regulated space.
  • Familiarity with SEO and content marketing best practices.
  • Exposure to M&A or B2B partner marketing.
  • A passion for helping small businesses succeed.
