Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you will drive data-informed decision-making through advanced financial modeling, insightful analysis, and compelling presentations. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize operations, evaluate partnerships, and support strategic initiatives in our fast-paced transportation ecosystem. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to forecast revenue, costs, and profitability for new routes, partnerships, and operational expansions.
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in areas such as ridership, pricing strategies, and market demand.
  • Maintain and improve demand forecasting models for use in decision making and budgeting
  • Create high-impact presentations and reports using PowerPoint and other tools to communicate insights to stakeholders, including executives, airline partners, and investors.
  • Utilize modern data analysis and automation tools (e.g., Python, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI) to streamline processes, automate reporting, and enhance data visualization.
  • Collaborate with finance, operations, and marketing teams to support budgeting, scenario planning, and performance tracking.
  • Evaluate the financial viability of new initiatives, such as route expansions or technology integrations, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Monitor industry trends in transportation and aviation to inform strategic planning and competitive analysis.
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to building a data-driven culture within the organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, financial modeling, or a similar role, preferably in transportation, logistics, or a related industry.
  • Expertise in financial modeling techniques, including scenario analysis, NPV/IRR calculations, and sensitivity testing using tools like Excel (advanced proficiency required).
  • Strong presentation skills with proven experience creating executive-level decks in PowerPoint; ability to distill complex data into clear, persuasive narratives.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages, such as SQL, Python/R, or similar, with a track record of automating workflows.
  • Excellent analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven self-starter, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement & develop solutions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.
  • Familiarity with transportation or aviation industry dynamics, including regulatory considerations and partnership models.
  • Knowledge of automation frameworks (e.g., RPA tools like UiPath or scripting for process efficiency).
  • Certification in financial analysis (e.g., CFA) or data analytics (e.g., Google Data Analytics Certificate).
