Chemours is seeking a Senior Assurance Analyst to join our Finance team. This position will report to the Assurance Manager and be based at the Wilmington DE location.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Performing operational and financial audits in accordance with the approved audit plan. This includes planning and scoping, executing fieldwork, preparing workpapers, documenting findings and recommendations, writing reports and leading communication with the management audit clients throughout.
  • Executing internal control testing as part of the Company’s Sarbanes-Oxley (“SOX”) internal control program
  • Developing relationships with individuals at all levels of the businesses and functions, including communicating observations and findings to audit clients
  • Providing internal control guidance and education to the businesses and functions.
  • Providing ad-hoc advice to help departments achieve transformation objectives, effective governance and compliance
  • Participating in special projects such as pre-implementation readiness assessments, due diligence, or other advisory services.
  • Support the development of the annual Internal Audit plan and changes to the plan throughout the year.

The following is required for this role:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or other related fields
  • A minimum of 3+ years in External or Internal Audit
  • Experienced in business, operations, finance and compliance
  • Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley, COSO, and US GAAP
  • Knowledgeable in finance transformation, including shared services and business process outsourcing
  • A demonstrated track record of working on complex projects in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of fundamental internal control concepts and The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) code of ethics and professional standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to be able to present to management
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally - approximately 15%

The following is preferred for this role:
  • CIA, CPA and/or other related certification(s)
  • Big 4 experience is highly desirable
  • Working knowledge of SAP and/or other financial applications
  • Manufacturing industry experience preferred
  • Experience acquiring data from ERP (SAP) and other systems then transforming, mapping, cleansing, and preparing data for analysis
  • Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Alteryx, PowerBi)
