Work Schedule Standard (Mon-Fri) Shift Information Day Shift – Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM PST Impact of the Role Join a collaborative manufacturing environment responsible for producing molecular biology reagents used in Life Sciences industries. Responsibilities include conducting buffer preparation, dilutions, reagent formulation, and bulk dilutions of purified proteins, using various characterization techniques, and ensuring accurate data entry. Collaborate on revisions to technical documents and batch records. Daily Responsibilities Follow written laboratory procedures. Handle biological and chemical reagents. Operate large-scale buffer carboys, peristaltic pumps, and pipettes. Maintain knowledge of Safety Data Sheets (SDSs). Promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with EH&S programs. Identify and report process issues. Assist in developing and revising technical documents. Troubleshoot technical issues. Communicate across functional groups. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field. 2+ years of manufacturing or laboratory experience preferred. Experience with solution preparation, dilution techniques, and lab equipment. Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and GMP environments is a plus. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Dependability, accuracy, and consistency. Effective communication and positive attitude. Strong organizational and data analysis skills. Basic understanding of molecular biology and protein chemistry. Proactive problem-solving skills. Ability to work under shifting timelines. Intermediate Excel skills and familiarity with manufacturing software. Flexible to work overtime and nonstandard schedules. Physical and Work Environment Operate in a clean, controlled lab environment. Capable of lifting up to 20 pounds regularly. Work involves standing for extended periods and handling chemicals and hazardous materials. Conditions may change as needed. This position does not offer relocation benefits.
