Pride Health is hiring a Remote Pharmacy Technician to support our client’s medical facility in Texas . This is a 8- Months of Contract to Perm role and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Details:

• Job Type: 8- Months of Contract to Perm role
• Pay range: $18 - $20 per hour (Based experience, credentialing, and location).
• Training Schedule: Monday – Friday from 8:00 am-5:00 pm – 4 week duration. May be subject to change.

Schedule:

• Shift after training is an 8-hour shift with an hour lunch.
• Workers must be available as early as 5 am and as late as midnight.
• 5 days a week which may or may not include weekend coverage.
• Overtime and Holidays as needed.

Job Duties:

· Primarily answering prior authorization inquiry calls/requests with customer service as well as researching and resolving formulary and benefits issues using the appropriate reference material.

· Process member prescriptions or prior authorizations through various computer systems ensuring the accuracy of all data and updating as necessary

· Using established criteria and guidelines, the pharmacy technician receives, and processes prior authorization requests made by providers and members for medications not inherently covered on a member's prescription drug plan.

· Resolve issues and complaints promptly.

· Performs other duties as assigned by management.

· Handles inbound phone requests and gathers member data to provide information for Pharmacist consultations.

· Safety is paramount and employees need to have a safe and secure workspace and communicate with their leadership when that safety (equipment, system, information) is compromised.

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or equivalent required.

· Licensure/Certification Requirement: Active National or State Board Pharmacy Technician Licensure through

Ø Pharmacy Technicians Certification Board (PTCB)

Ø State Board of Pharmacy Licensure in state of residence

· A private and secure space to work from home with a hard-wired ethernet cord is required.

· Must be a permanent resident in one of the following states: Minnesota, Wisconsin, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Oregon, Iowa, Kansas.
