My Technology client are seeking a Network Automation Engineer to join a world-class infrastructure engineering team driving innovation at scale. If you're passionate about automating complex network environments and working alongside some of the brightest minds in the industry—this role is for you.

Location: Santa Clara, CA (Hybrid: 2–3 days onsite/week)

Rate: $105/hour (W2 or C2C)

About the Role

You’ll help design, automate, and scale highly performant data center and HPC networks supporting critical compute infrastructure. You’ll work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where automation, reliability, and performance are key.

Key Responsibilities

• Automate the provisioning, configuration, and monitoring of high-speed data center and HPC networks
• Build and maintain network-as-code frameworks using Python, Ansible, or similar tools
• Design and implement scalable automation pipelines for network operations and compliance
• Collaborate across systems, DevOps, and hardware teams to streamline infrastructure deployment
• Support large-scale deployments involving VxLAN, EVPN, BGP, and Spine-Leaf architectures
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure as code and validation testing

What You Bring

• Proven experience in network automation and scripting (Python, REST APIs, YAML, Git)
• Strong knowledge of data center networking —routing, switching, firewalls, and overlays
• Hands-on experience with Ansible , Terraform , NetBox , or similar automation tools
• Expertise in Arista and/or Mellanox technologies; experience with Cumulus Linux a plus
• Familiarity with InfiniBand , ROCE , and HPC networking principles
• Strong understanding of VxLAN , EVPN , BGP , and network telemetry systems
• Experience working in Linux environments (Ubuntu, CentOS)
• Bonus: Knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins), container networking, and workload schedulers like Slurm
