Farmington Family Practice is a fast-paced, patient-centered family medicine clinic committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to our community. We are looking for an experienced, dependable, and team-oriented Medical Assistant to join us on an as-needed (PRN) basis.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled PRN Medical Assistant who is flexible, reliable, and able to step in on short notice. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a dynamic clinical environment and thrive in a supportive, team-driven setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer vaccines and injections
• Obtain and document vital signs and patient history
• Perform phlebotomy (draw blood)
• Answer and return patient phone calls
• Assist with prescription refills and prior authorizations
• Support clinical providers in daily patient care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Other duties as assigned to ensure smooth clinic operations

Requirements:

• Current Medical Assistant certification preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting (family medicine a plus)
• CPR certification required
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Must be dependable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Willingness to work variable hours and be available on short notice
