Talent4Health is seeking a local contract Cytotechnologist for a local contract job in Detroit, Michigan.

• 40 hours per week
• Shift: 8 hours, days
• Employment Type: Local Contract

Responsibilities:

🔍 Screen Pap smears using ThinPrep Imager
🧫 Process & stain specimens; detect abnormal cells
🧠 Classify smears: normal, abnormal, or cancerous
🧾 Correlate cytology with surgical pathology reports
📚 Assist in training, documentation & lab CME programs
📍 Attend FNA procedures & assess adequacy
🔄 Rotate on cubicle/NGYN screening per schedule
☎️ Relay results & messages to clinicians/lab staff

✅ Requirements:\n🎓 Bachelor’s degree + CAAHEP-accredited cytotech program\n 📃 ThinPrep Imaging & Processing Certification – Required\n 👁️ Excellent visual acuity, depth perception & color recognition\n ➕ FNA adequacy experience is a plus\n\n
