Currently, we have an SBA Loan Officer / Underwriter opportunity with a California-chartered, full-service commercial bank that has served small- to medium-sized businesses for nearly two decades across California, Washington, and Texas.

The SBA Loan Officer / Underwriter is responsible for the specific duties listed below.

Your specific duties will include:

• Analyze, underwrite, structure, and close SBA loans in compliance with internal policies and SBA guidelines.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all loan files and documentation.
• Prepare financial spreadsheets; analyze cash flow and draw financial conclusions from borrower tax returns.
• Originate SBA loans from application through closing, coordinating with escrow, title, and other relevant parties.
• Conduct site visits, manage client relationships, and monitor portfolio performance.
• Track and report delinquencies; perform regular portfolio maintenance and updates.
• Prepare internal and external compliance reports as required.
• Ensure timely collection of borrower financial statements and supporting documentation.

Specific qualifications for the position include :

• Minimum 5 years of SBA lending experience, including credit analysis and underwriting.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited 4-year university.
• Ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to understand Korean is strongly preferred.

Pay Rate Range : $100,000 - $150,000 per year

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
