Our client, a leader in research and development within the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Lab Technician to join their team. As a Lab Technician, you will be part of the R&D department supporting innovative projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Lab Technician

Location: Eden Prairie, MN

Pay Range: $25.00 - $30.00/hour

Position Type: 1-Year Contract-to-Hire

Shift:  Monday - Friday; 8:00AM - 5:00PM

What's the Job?

• Conduct all R&D laboratory work safely, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety practices.
• Assist in maintaining project timelines and support various projects assigned by Engineers and Supervisors.
• Employ basic problem-solving skills to overcome project bottlenecks and ensure timely delivery of results.
• Collect, organize, and communicate data and observations regarding experimental outcomes.
• Train other technicians on equipment operation and test procedures, ensuring consistent and safe practices.

What's Needed?

• Ability to perform routine tests and operate laboratory equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills for data collection and documentation.
• Basic problem-solving skills to identify abnormalities and troubleshoot issues.
• Willingness to learn and support team members in a collaborative environment.
• No prior experience required; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
