German Language Interpreter

ProSidian seeks a German Language Interpreter for Program Support on a contract basis located in the Mid Atlantic region supporting the City of Charlottes mission of ensuring the delivery of quality public services and promoting the safety, health, and quality of life of its citizens with Translation, Transcription, and Interpretation services.

This is a contract contingent or contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Interpretation Services Functional Area - Interpretation Services position; however, ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a full-time ProSidian employed W-2 position.

Job Overview

Provide services and support as a Interpretation Services (German Language Interpreter) in the Government and Public Services Industry Sector focusing on Business Process Solutions for clients such as City of Charlotte, NC (CLT) | City of Charlotte Procurement Department generally located in CONUS - Charlotte, NC and across the Mid Atlantic Region (of country/world).

Responsibilities and Duties - German Language Interpreter | Interpretation Services [CLT043042]

• Provide verbal interpretation between German and English in various settings including courts, public safety, and community events.

Qualifications

Desired qualifications for German Language Interpreter | Interpretation Services [CLT043042] (CLT043042) candidates:

• Fluency in German and English. Certification preferred.

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Interpretation, or related field. 2+ years of interpretation experience.

Skills Required

• Strong memory retention, active listening, and note-taking skills.

Competencies Required

• Quick adaptability, professionalism, cultural awareness.

Ancillary Details Of The Roles

• Ability to work under pressure.
• Must be willing to travel for assignments.

Other Details

• Experience with legal or healthcare interpretation preferred.
