Job Description

About Wondercide

Wondercide was founded in Austin, TX, when our founder Stephanie Boone set out to create safe, plant-powered alternatives after her dog Luna became ill from conventional flea and tick treatments. Fifteen years later, Wondercide has grown into a leading provider of pest control solutions for pets, families, homes, and yards — trusted by millions with 50,000+ five-star reviews on Amazon.

As a privately held, high-growth CPG company, Wondercide operates with an omnichannel presence and a vertically integrated model, handling everything from innovation and mixing to fulfillment in-house. Guided by our values of Grit, Action, Curiosity, Ownership, and Insight, we’re on a mission powered by Fierce Love®: protecting families everywhere with safe, effective solutions so they can live long, happy, and healthy lives together.

The Role

The Fulfillment Manager will join our Operations Leadership Team and oversee the Fulfillment department, managing a team of 5–7 direct reports. This role is responsible for ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are consistently met or exceeded, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives that scale operations to meet customer and business needs.

Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing all order processing activities (Amazon, retail, wholesale, small parcel, and customer pickup), leading team meetings, tracking KPIs, presenting updates at company All Hands, supporting Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) and Waste Observations, maintaining SOPs and Visual Work Instructions (VWIs), and delivering training for the Fulfillment team.

Key Responsibilities

Safety

  • Lead or support Behavior-Based Safety observations and proactively identify hazards.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct required safety training for team members.

Quality

  • Manage team and individual performance to meet service-level quality standards.
  • Monitor quality KPIs and inspect fulfillment units for compliance.
  • Promote a “Zero Defects” mindset, leading by example.

Productivity

  • Manage performance to labor plans, NetSuite rates, and productivity standards.
  • Track and report on KPIs, ensuring timely and accurate order processing.
  • Analyze trends, streamline processes, and drive measurable improvements in orders-per-hour performance.

Leadership & Development

  • Conduct 1:1 coaching and development sessions with team members.
  • Maintain and execute a cross-training matrix to prepare for peak volume.
  • Support LEAN, Safety, and Quality training programs.
  • Build a culture that supports retention, engagement, and talent growth.

Continuous Improvement

  • Deliver measurable improvement projects aligned with company goals.
  • Engage team members in identifying opportunities and participating in Kaizen events.
  • Apply LEAN methodology to enhance processes and results.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience leading a team of 5+ in a manufacturing, warehouse, or fulfillment environment.
  • Proven ability to manage performance across Safety, Quality, Productivity, Leadership, and Continuous Improvement.
  • Experience managing labor standards, KPIs, and productivity metrics.
  • Direct experience with performance management, progressive discipline, and employee development.
  • Strong skills in project management, LEAN methodology, critical thinking, problem-solving, and data analysis.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with NetSuite, ShipStation, or similar fulfillment and inventory platforms.
  • Experience in Inventory Management, Quality Control, or Fulfillment Planning.
  • Hands-on experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyors, or similar equipment.
  • Training facilitation experience, including Kaizen and continuous improvement events.

Why Join Wondercide?

At Wondercide, you’ll be part of a close-knit team inspired by our mission to protect families everywhere. We’re a growth-stage company with an entrepreneurial spirit, where curiosity, ownership, and grit are celebrated. This is your chance to help shape the future of a company, making a meaningful impact — while growing your career in a collaborative, values-driven environment.
