**Minimum Qualifications:** Forestry Technician 2 **· Education:** Bachelor's degree in Natural Resource Management, Forestry, or related field or meets minimum years of experience. · **Experience:** Mid-level position capable of performing inspections, data entry, reporting, and project management. · Must have a good understanding of forestry, vegetation and property management, and have a basic understanding of GIS applications. · 5 years of experience in Forestry, preferably with timber cruising experience. · Reviews, accepts, coordinates and facilitates tasks given by PG&E LPM's. · Possess a valid driver’s license. · Minimum age of 21. **Preferred Qualifications:** · **Education:** ISA certification, TRAQ OSHA30, and/or Registered Professional Forester.**Desired Skills:** · Experience in forest management activities such as timber harvesting, timber inventory, forest health, and other technical documents or permits relating to such activities. · Data entry and synthesis. · Able to operate a GPS collection device. · Proficient with Maps+ and Field Maps applications. · Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (Look-ups, Pivot Tables, etc.) · Self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task and work independently as well as a team. · Excellent communication skills, comfortable interacting with senior management. · Demonstrated critical thinking skills and ability to exercise good judgement to make good business decisions. **Additional: Department & Division:** Natural Resource Management (NRM) – Timber Hydro Program **Exempt Status\*:** Non Exempt **Reports to\*\*:** PG&E Land Program Manager and ACRT Pacific Operations Manager**Works with Inside Company:** · Operations Managers · Internal Corporate Teams · Field leadership & personnel **Works with Outside Company:** · Consultants and vendors as necessary **Working Conditions:** · Primarily work in the field (mostly rural, rugged and mountainous locations) and some office work. **Supervisor Responsibilities:** · None **Physical Requirements:** · Never: 0 hours · Occasionally: up to 3 hours · Frequently 3-6 hours · Constantly 6-8+ hours o Sitting: Occasionally o Walking: Constantly o Standing: Frequently o Bending (neck): Constantly o Bending (waist): Frequently o Squatting: Occasionally o Climbing: Occasionally o Kneeling: Occasionally o Crawling: Occasionally o Twisting (neck): Frequently o Twisting (waist): Frequently o Hand Use: Dominant hand Right/left: Constantly o Simple grasping (right hand): Frequently o Simple grasping (left hand): Frequently o Power grasping (right hand): Occasionally o Power grasping (left hand): Occasionally o Fine Manipulation (right hand): Frequently o Fine Manipulation (left hand): Frequently o Pushing & Pulling (right hand): Occasionally o Pushing & Pulling (left hand): Occasionally o Reaching (above shoulder level): Occasionally o Reaching (below shoulder level): Occasionally **Lifting:** · 0-5 lbs.: Constantly · 6-10 lbs.: Constantly · 11-25 lbs.: Occasionally · 26-50 lbs.: Occasionally · 51-75 lbs.: Occasionally · 76-100 lbs.: Never · 100 + lbs.: Never **Carrying:** · 0-5 lbs.
