Position Summary:

Phoenix Loss Control seeks a detail-oriented and analytical Financial & Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in financial analysis and data interpretation to provide strategic insights and support operational efficiency. Collaborating closely with our outside plant damage recovery team, you will play a key role in optimizing processes and enhancing recovery operations.

Responsibilities:

- Collect and analyze financial and operational data to track performance and identify trends.
- Prepare KPIs, financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to support decision-making.
- Develop and maintain models for business planning and strategy.
- Collaborate with the recovery team to optimize processes and enhance efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement through data analysis.
- Work with the engineering team to enhance reporting functionality in our proprietary database.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management to drive business improvements.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Financial or Operations Analyst, or in a similar role.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and data analysis tools.
- Experience in financial modeling and familiarity with data visualization tools.
- Background in Power BI preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and across functional areas.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
