Position Overview

BayCare Winter Haven Hospital is a leading provider of comprehensive cardiovascular care in Winter Haven, FL, renowned for its commitment to excellence in patient outcomes and innovative treatments. We are seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our dynamic Electrophysiology team.

As an Advanced Practice Provider specializing in Electrophysiology, you will play a pivotal role in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients with complex cardiac arrhythmias and related conditions. Working closely with our team of cardiologists and electrophysiologists, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care and collaborate on advanced treatment strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests such as ECGs and Holter monitors.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, including medication management and procedural interventions (e.g., pacemaker and defibrillator implantation, ablations).
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient care outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) documentation.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Nursing or graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current licensure and certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA)
• Clinical experience in Electrophysiology, Cardiology, or a related field.
• Strong clinical acumen, critical thinking skills, and ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
• Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
