Principal duties and responsibilities:

  • The Maintenance Electrician reports to the Maintenance Manager.
\n

  • Responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical circuits.
\n

  • Support the daily production activities by installing, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining electrical equipment in a manufacturing environment.
\n

Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, electrical schematics and parts specifications.
\n

  • Can troubleshoot and repair basic electrical component issues, i.e., replace ballasts, fuses, circuit breakers, etc.
\n

  • Working knowledge of PLCs and automation.
\n

  • Install, diagnose and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical components of industrial machinery and equipment.
\n

  • The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in an electrical maintenance environment.
\n

  • Must provide their own tools.
\n

  • Follow established programs, policies and practices that meet regulatory and company requirements.
\n

  • Maintain communication with other departments, management and associates and notify them of any problems or concerns that may restrict the efficiency of production work.
\n

Environment/Physical Demands:

  • Will be required to stand, bend, kneel, squat frequently.
\n

  • Employee will occasionally be required to lift and carry objects of 10-25 pounds as needed.
\n

  • Employee will occasionally be required to lift and carry objects of 25-30 pounds as needed.
\n

  • Employee will be required to work productively and cooperatively in a high-volume, fast paced, highly pressured environment and be able to respond efficiently and courteously to unanticipated problems and crisis.
\n
