Earth Science Adjunct Faculty Opportunity

Tallahassee State College (TSC), recently recognized as one of the Most Promising Places to Work in Community Colleges for 2025 , is excited to announce an Adjunct opportunity for the position of Earth Science Adjunct Faculty with Applied Science and Technology Division . What Youll Do
As an Adjunct Faculty the day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Provide instruction, service and support of college policies and procedures, along with opportunities for professional development.

Who Were Looking For
Were seeking a candidate who brings not only technical expertise but also a passion for education and student success. Our ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum of a Masters degree in accounting, geology, oceanography, meteorology, environmental sciences or earth science or;
• Masters degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in geology, oceanography, meteorology, environmental sciences or earth science or courses related to science + Master's degree.

In addition to the minimum qualifications listed for the positions, applicants must be able to work in any clinical settings. All prospective faculty are expected to demonstrate the following characteristics:

• Commitment to student retention and success
• Commitment to development and assessment of student learning
• Use of technology and innovative approaches to enhance teaching and learning,
• including distance learning and alternative delivery systems.
• Willingness to support a diverse population of learners inside and beyond the classroom
• Ability to work in a participatory and collegial setting
