Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Patient Care Coordinator/ Dental Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both clinical and administrative responsibilities and thrives in a dynamic, patient-focused environment.

You will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations from assisting the dentist chairside to coordinating patient appointments and treatment plans.  Experience in the dental field is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, including endodontics and general dentistry tasks.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to aseptic techniques.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Manage patient flow and assist with scheduling appointments.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Perform administrative duties such as updating patient information in Dentrix and other systems.
• Ensure the dental clinic is clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.

Experience

• Previous experience in the Dental Field, Graduate of an accredited dental assistant program, or customer service background is preferred.
• Knowledge of dental software systems, particularly Dentrix, is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
