Job Description
About Us:
We’re to be an independently owned coffee shop, preparing to open our doors in a few months. Now, we’re looking for a manager to help us launch successfully and build a loyal team and customer base from day one. The space is in a medical building, and we will be open Monday through Friday from 7am-2pm.
Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing the shop for opening, including setting up operations, hiring, and training staff.
Oversee daily operations once open, ensuring smooth service and an excellent customer experience.
Lead, motivate, and schedule a small team of baristas.
Maintain inventory, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships.
Uphold cleanliness, safety, and quality standards.
Monitor sales and expenses with a focus on sustainable growth.
Act as one of the faces of the shop, fostering strong relationships with customers.
Qualifications:
Previous management or shift lead experience in a café/coffee shop (preferably), restaurant, or retail setting.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Passion for coffee and customer service.
Comfortable working in a start-up environment where flexibility and problem-solving are key.
