NEXT-CRC (ERC-2025-STG) (HORIZON‑ERC) (ERCEA/C/04) 2. Duties Develop and carry out a doctoral research project within an interdisciplinary laboratory focused on advanced models of colorectal cancer. Design, perform, and analyze experiments using 3D cell culture models and cutting‑edge techniques in molecular biology and genomics. Actively participate in scientific discussions, experimental planning, and data analysis, collaborating with group members and external collaborators. Contribute to the writing of scientific manuscripts, conference abstracts, and other research dissemination materials. Attend seminars, group meetings, and training activities relevant to the development of the project and doctoral training. Collaborate in general laboratory tasks, including stock management, cell line maintenance, and data recording. 3. Requirements for Participation in the Call Nationality: Spanish nationality, EU member nationality, or foreigner with a valid residence and work permit for Spain. Legal capacity: At least 18 years of age and able to enter into a contract for work. Functional capacity: No mental or physical limitation preventing performance of duties. Authorisation: Non‑Spanish nationals must prove no disciplinary sanction or criminal conviction. Qualification: Possession of the degree or diploma required for the post and professional category. Requirements for the position offered: Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or related fields. Master’s degree in Biomedicine, Biotechnology or related disciplines. Grade average above 8 out of 10 points. Experience: Experience will be especially valued: Experience in cell culture (2D and 3D). Experience in molecular biology techniques. Experience in microscopy and image analysis. Experience in bioinformatics. Experience in microbiology. High level of English (B2 or above). 4. Selection Process Stage I – Fulfilment of requirements and evaluation of CV and experience (up to 25 points): a score based on the qualifications and professional requirements. Stage II – Interview (25 points): candidates scoring at least 12.5 points in Stage I will be invited for a personal interview, online or in person. 7. Resolution of the Call The resolution will be announced one month after the application deadline, published on the foundation’s website. The call may be declared void if no candidate meets the requirements. 8.
